Founded in 2015, Attended’s dynamic team of movers, shakers, how-can-I-helpers, and do-it-right-the-first-timers is fueled by a genuine passion for people and events, an intense drive to do their best, and, truthfully, more than a few Diet Pepsis (settle down. We stock Coke, too). We’re proud of our roots in Raleigh and the strength of our regional reach in the Southeast. Our Team
Evan Carroll | CEO and Co-Founder
Evan is Attended’s resident experience design expert. Evan has created numerous conference-based events and is an experienced event production director. In addition to Attended, Evan is the author of three books and a keynote speaker. Evan holds MS and BS degrees in Information Science from UNC-Chapel Hill, where he now serves as an adjunct professor. He is a past president of AMA Triangle, where his board earned Chapter of the Year honors, and is a member of the National Speakers Association and Meeting Professionals International.
KAITLIN STAMMETTI | VICE PRESIDENT of EventS
Kaitlin brings over a decade of event production experience to the Attended Events Team. As Vice President of Events, she utilizes her varied events background (including catering management, venue management, and event design) to assist all of the members of the team as well as lead her own clients through a top-notch client experience. Kaitlin is a Raleigh native and graduate of Enloe High School and Meredith College with a background in theatre, dance, and English literature.
Jeff Besselman | Vice President of Operations and business development
With almost 20 years of theater, production, and event experience, Jeff has cultivated a wealth of knowledge and the ability to process information and issues quickly with a solutions-focused approach. He believes the key to a successful partnership, whether internally or externally, is open lines of communication and collaboration. Originally from Apex, NC, Jeff spent 12 years in NYC, relocating back to Raleigh in 2016. Jeff holds a B.A. in Communication with a concentration in theatre from North Carolina State University.
TERRY BEAL | EVENT Manager
Terry works with clients to ensure every detail of their events is executed flawlessly. Terry is a specialist in creative production and sourcing, with a rolodex full of anything you might need from printers and exhibit builders to inflatable slides and balloon art. We’re not even kidding. Terry is an active fundraiser for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society and was recognized by the News and Observer as the Tar Heel of the Week in November 2014.
Laura Craven | Project Manager
Laura provides daily project management services for the Attended team. She enjoys keeping things organized and running smoothly so the team can focus on the work they love to do for our clients. Laura is a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill and is PMP certified, with over a decade of experience under her belt.
Brian McGuire | PRODUCTION MANAGER
Brian has worked in technical production for nearly 40 years. Brian holds a BA in Media Production from UNC-Chapel Hill. Brian worked in the music industry in the 80s, broadcast television in the 90s and 00s, and has specialized in special event production for the past 20 years. Brian’s technical knowledge and experience gives him a unique perspective on production planning and execution.
Wyatt Dowdy | Production Specialist
Wyatt is your go-to when you need something done. As Production Specialist, he can make sure that your event is running smoothly behind the scenes and is ready to serve when you need him. With a background in Film Production, Wyatt knows what it takes to get the job done. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Cinematic Arts and a M.F.A. in Creative writing.
ANNIE PEARCE | Co-Founder
Annie has been with Attended since day one and now provides strategic counsel. She’s served in multiple roles for large events including Trade Show Manager for High Five Conference, Event Director for Fail Fest Raleigh and has managed multiple events for an economic development organization. She holds an MS in Integrated Marketing Communication from Northwestern University and a BS in Integrated Marketing Communication from Ithaca College.
