Both Evan and I have helped the associations that we volunteer with put on events. We quickly realized that putting on events was something that we were very passionate about. And we were good at it too!
The a-ha moment was after we met to put together the Thank You gifts for the first High Five Conference speakers. Evan turned to me and said “Wouldn’t it be great if we could do this for other companies?” The seed had been planted… and it only took us a little over a year to start putting things together.
We are on a mission to rid the world of crappy events, one event at a time. We help companies and associations craft events that are great experiences for everyone involved, especially our clients.
Events are all about experiences. And we believe that every event should accomplish three things: Educate, Entertain, and Inspire. Our events provide attendees with new insights, ideas to share, and a reason to come back. The difference between a good event and a great event is in the details. We live for the details.
When putting on an event, we consider all perspectives: attendee, sponsor, speaker, and volunteer. And then think, how can you exceed expectations for all involved. All events are an experience; we strive to make it an insightful, memorable, and shareable experience.
I heard multiple people say that they didn’t go to the first High Five, but that they would go to the second one because of all the ativitity they saw on Twitter. Fear Of Missing Out (FOMO) is a real thing in our society that is always on the go and always connected. Use this feeling to your advantage.
Make your event a well attended event!
